Head Coach of the Cleveland Crunch of the MISL, General Manager and the Head Coach of the outdoor Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL A-League), Head Coach of women’s and men’s soccer at the Myers University in Cleveland, Ohio. The first Director and Founder of the IMG Soccer Academies. Assistant coach U-17 U.S. National Team. Head Scout for the USSF Project 2010 and currently a Scout for the United States Soccer Federation’s Youth National teams.
PROFESSIONAL PLAYING EXPERIENCE (19 years)
Finnish National Team member (1977-84) scoring goals Italy’s Dino Zoff and England’s Ray Clements. North American Soccer League (NASL) teams included Dallas Tornado, Houston Hurricane and Edmonton Drillers. Retired as the third leading scorer in the history of Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). He led Edmonton Drillers into the 1981 NASL indoor Championship. 2013 Indoor Soccer Hall of Fame inductee and member of the MISL 10th Anniversary Team, 8-time indoor All-Star Team selection, MVP of the 1980-81 NASL indoor regular season and finals and the MVP of the 1987 MISL All-Star Game.
